We are TDS. We were established in 2003 to operate tenancy deposit schemes across the UK and to provide dispute resolution services in relation to tenancy deposits. We now operate tenancy deposit schemes in England and Wales, Scotland, and Northern Ireland from our head office in Hemel Hempstead and our other offices in Glasgow and Belfast. In 2022 we also launched the New Homes Ombudsman Service. We are collaborative and forward-thinking with our colleagues and customers at the heart of everything we do. With our proven success, it is necessary to expand our team to ensure the services we offer continue to make a difference.
This is a full-time, permanent position that will be based in our TDS office in Hemel Hempstead and will follow our hybrid working policy of a minimum of 2 days in the office per week. The salary for this position is £42,494.30 per annum.
Some of the key responsibilities include:
- Provide practical, business-focused HR support and advice to managers and employees.
- Support managers to ensure teams have the skills and resources to meet objectives.
- Coach line managers to improve leadership, engagement and performance.
- Contribute to HR policy development, ensuring compliance with best practice and legislation.
- Proactively identify and resolve employee relations issues, implementing effective solutions.
- Assist in delivering HR projects (e.g. change management, TUPE, organisational development).
- Maintain accurate HR records, reports and management information in line with GDPR.
The ideal candidate will have the following:
- Solid employee relations experience (essential).
- Proven experience in a hands-on HR role within a similar environment.
- Strong knowledge of HR best practice and employment law.
- Practical experience across recruitment, training & development, employee relations, and absence management.
- Experience managing disciplinary, grievance and capability processes.
- Strong experience in employment policy development and implementation.
