Role overview
We are TDS. We were established in 2003 to operate tenancy deposit schemes across the UK and to provide dispute resolution services in relation to tenancy deposits. We now operate tenancy deposit schemes in England and Wales, Scotland, and Northern Ireland from our head office in Hemel Hempstead and our other offices in Glasgow and Belfast. In 2022 we also launched the New Homes Ombudsman Service. We are collaborative and forward-thinking with our colleagues and customers at the heart of everything we do.
We have a new opportunity within the Client Relations team to join them as a Client Relations Executive.
This is a full-time, permanent position that will be a mix of field based across the whole of Scotland with office-based responsibilities at our SDS office. You may also be eligible for a company car.
Responsibilities include the following:
- Provide excellent customer service to all service users and clients.
- Identify potential new letting agent and landlord customers for the company.
- Liaise with potential new customers via email, phone, or Microsoft Teams with the aim of converting them into SafeDeposits Scotland clients.
- Assist in implementing the agreed Business Development strategy to secure new members for SafeDeposits Scotland.
- Conduct phone, Zoom, or Teams calls and occasional visits to existing customers to ensure satisfaction with the service provided.
- Deliver support and training to new and existing customers—both in person and online—on the use of the SafeDeposits online system and the formal disputes process.
- Occasionally attend industry events to represent SafeDeposits Scotland, which may include public speaking engagement.
To be considered for this opportunity you must:
- Have a valid UK Driving License.
- Previous sales and letting experience is essential.
- Be able to demonstrate experience of working in a customer service environment.
- Have strong computer literacy, including proficiency in using Microsoft Office.
- Be able to showcase strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively in order to advise and inform colleagues, prospective members of SafeDeposits Scotland, and other stakeholders.
- Diplomacy skills are essential in this role.
- Have strong problem-solving abilities including good numeracy skills.
