This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Modernization Technician looking for top-of-market pay, stable local projects, and genuine long-term career progression.

The Role
You will work within the Projects / Modernization division, delivering full modernizations and major repairs on hydraulic and traction elevators. This role is focused on longer-term, local projects, providing consistency and structure rather than constant travel.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete full elevator modernizations and heavy repairs
- Install and commission microprocessor controllers and door equipment
- Carry out wiring, fixtures, hoist machines, pumping units, ropes, and packings
- Perform inspections and annual safety tests in line with OSHA and regulatory standards
- Assess existing equipment and advise on upgrades or modifications
- Work independently or as part of a two-person modernization team
- Maintain high standards of safety, quality, and customer communication
Experience & Qualifications
- Licensed Elevator Mechanic or Certified Elevator Technician
- 4+ years' experience in elevator modernization or heavy repair
- Strong hydraulic and traction elevator knowledge
- Confident with electrical diagnostics, controllers, and testing equipment
- Safety-first mindset and professional customer approach
- Full driving licence
- Comfortable with physical demands of elevator work
