An award-winning, market leader in the industrial door industry is currently seeking an industry experienced Service Manager to join their key management team, covering the Southern half of the country.
Role Overview:
As an integral part of our team, you will support a group of 20 Engineers serving the Southern region of the UK. This role necessitates frequent face-to-face meetings with Engineers across a broad geographic area, requiring comfort with extensive travel and occasional overnight stays. While primarily working from home, you will maintain a flexible schedule.
Your responsibilities will include overseeing the development of the Engineering team, handling recruitment, performance evaluations, and disciplinary procedures. You will benefit from the support of an experienced management team, with several key personnel boasting over ten years of tenure with the company.
Service Manager Summary of Duties:
- Managing and supporting a team of 20 Engineers
- Providing technical support
- Conducting site audits
- Handling recruitment, appraisals, and disciplinaries
- Ensuring compliance with industry standards such as DHF
