A national automatic and industrial door systems specialist is looking to expand and is therefore targeting an Engineer based in the North to join their team. The company has been established for over twenty years and has a respected name in the automatic door, industrial door, gate, and barrier industries. The package includes a basic salary of up to £38,610, company van with personal use, premium overtime rates, and more.
As a Door Engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Servicing, maintaining, and repairing a wide range of industrial doors including roller shutters, sectional doors, speed doors, overhead doors, shop fronts, and occasionally loading bay equipment.
- Servicing, maintaining, and repairing a wide range of automatic doors manufactured by companies such as Assa Abloy, Record, Geze, Dorma, Stanley, Tormax, Horton, Label, and more.
- Servicing, maintaining, and repairing gates, barriers, and perimeter security equipment.
- Fault finding on electrical, mechanical, and electronic equipment.
- Basic electrical wiring.
The successful Door Engineer will have:
- Experience servicing, maintaining, and repairing a wide range of automatic and industrial door systems.
- A clean driving licence.
- A CSCS Card.
