A multinational automatic door manufacturer is currently going through a period of sustained growth, and therefore is looking to expand its engineering team.
The business is looking to increase its headcount by bringing in a Gate Engineer in the South East of England to help keep up with client demand due to a surge in contracts.
The package includes a starting rate of up to £21 per hour, a lucrative commission scheme, as well as training and development opportunities.
As a Gate Engineer, you will be responsible for
- Servicing, maintaining, and repairing a wide range of gate products.
- Fault finding on electrical, mechanical, and electronic equipment.
- Basic electrical wiring.
- Adhering to industry standards such as Gate Safe and DHF.
- Providing customers with advice and identifying the best solution to their individual requirement.
The successful Gate Engineer will have
- Experience working on a range of manufacturer brands.
- Experience servicing, maintaining, and repairing a wide range of gate systems.
- Experience working on related products such as automatic doors would be beneficial
- A CSCS Card.
In return, you will receive a remuneration package which includes
- Starting rate of up to £21 per hour depending on experience and location
- Top earners bringing in over £70,000 per annum
- Home-based, door to door pay
- Premium overtime rates at 1.5 x after 9.5 hours per day, travel time is considered overtime
- Saturdays paid at 1.5. Sundays paid at 2.0
- Commission scheme (Average earnings £3,000 per year)
- All power tools and hand tools provided
