Are you currently at another developer, local authority or a consultancy looking to move to a client who builds award winning family homes?

We are looking for an ambitious planner to join a privately owned Midlands-based developer who is going through a period of rapid growth within the market and you will become a key driver as their business develops. You will report directly to the directors but work autonomously on managing existing planning applications through outlined and detailed consents.

You will be dynamic, ambitious, and hungry to succeed. The business is very fast-paced and you will be given a lot of autonomy to manage your own work and applications.

You will either be working for a planning consultancy, local authority or another property developer/ house builder. You will be degree-qualified and MRTPI qualified. You must have experience dealing with planning applications and appeals in the residential property market.

Salary on offer is £50-60k complemented by a comprehensive package.

Responsibilities:

As a Town Planner, you will have a central role in supervising and orchestrating planning and development initiatives throughout the Midlands and Northern Home Counties.

Your duties encompass:

  • Guiding a team of committed planners and fostering their development.
  • Engaging with local authorities and stakeholders to ensure projects align with strategic development objectives.
  • Formulating and presenting planning applications, with ongoing communication with regulatory bodies.
  • Assessing and proposing resolutions for intricate planning and zoning issues.
  • Sustaining a commitment to ongoing research, keeping up to date with local, regional, and national planning regulations and industry best practices.
