Senior Town Planner / Planning Manager

£55k – £70k plus package
We are working with a privately owned house builder, who are looking to recruit a Senior Planner / Planning Manager to work closely with the Land & Development Director on a portfolio of new, design-led housing schemes
You will come from either a planning consultancy, or a house builder / developer and have an understanding of the planning process and how to lead on applications and appeals.
Responsibilities
- Working on current and future planning applications and appeals
- Working with external planning consultants where required.
- Support the Land & Development Director on appraisals on future land purchases
- Keep the Development Director updated on monthly reports for each project you are handling
- Keep abreast and current on planning policy changes or updates in the local authorities
Key experience
- Degree qualified
- 3+ plus years post graduation experience.
- Currently working for a house builder or consultancy
- An understanding of the planning process and running applications
