Senior Planning Manager Barnsley, Yorkshire £65k - £85k We are working with a leading residential developer, who are looking to strengthen their team with an experienced planner to work on major housebuilding schemes. You'd work on a portfolio of immediate development land projects, as well as strategic land schemes. This role would suit someone an experienced individual who can hit the ground running, and is comfortable leading on a portfolio of projects from day one. You’ll work closely with the land director and planning director, but will have a degree of autonomy to just crack on with your projects. On offer is a salary of circa £65k - £85k and there is flexi working available. Responsibilities: Work current and future planning applications and promotion work Support the land buying team with appraisals for future land purchases Stay current with planning policy updates for local authorities. Key experience: Degree qualified and working towards MRTPI qualification Experience working on planning applications for 50+ unit projects Experience with large, complex strategic land planning applications would be advantageous but not essential.
