We are working with a leading UK housebuilder to recruit an experienced Technical Manager to join their team in Warlingham. This role focuses on managing the technical delivery of residential housing developments from inception through to completion.

You will be responsible for leading the design and technical coordination of multiple projects, working closely with consultants, local authorities, and internal departments to ensure high-quality, compliant, and buildable solutions. This role offers flexibility with working arrangements while encouraging in-person collaboration to support team culture and project success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the full technical design process across multiple residential developments.
  • Coordinate external consultants and ensure timely delivery of drawings, reports, and approvals.
  • Secure statutory approvals including S38, S104, and S278 agreements.
  • Oversee utility designs, legal plans, and supporting infrastructure requirements.
  • Support the discharge of planning conditions and assist in value engineering reviews.
  • Provide ongoing technical support to site and commercial teams throughout the project lifecycle.
