Overview

We are recruiting on behalf of a 5-star rated national housebuilder with a strong presence in Kent. Due to continued growth and a strong development pipeline, our client is seeking an ambitious Technical Coordinator to join their team, supporting the delivery of high-quality housing schemes in the region. Location: Maidstone, Kent. Salary: up to £50,000 plus package.

The Role

You will be responsible for coordinating all technical aspects across two live housing developments (82 units and 154 units respectively). These schemes are traditional build, low-rise housing projects, and you will be at the centre of ensuring smooth design and technical delivery.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing external consultants including architects, engineers, and utility providers.
  • Ensuring all technical information is coordinated and shared effectively across internal teams – commercial, construction, and sales.
  • Supporting the Senior Technical Manager in driving projects through design stages to build and completion.
  • Managing design queries, ensuring compliance with planning conditions, building regulations, and NHBC requirements.

About You

  • Previous experience in a technical role within housebuilding or residential construction is essential.
  • Strong knowledge of UK building regulations and design coordination.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills – able to manage multiple stakeholders and deadlines.
  • Aspiring and motivated, with a desire to develop towards a future Technical Manager role.
