Are you ready to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of residential communities across the West Midlands? If you’re looking for a role where you’ll be challenged, supported, and given the freedom to grow, this could be your next career move.
This is an opportunity to join one of the UK’s most respected housebuilding and regeneration businesses – a company that puts people, quality, and sustainability at the heart of everything they do. With a strong reputation for delivering high-quality homes and creating thriving neighbourhoods, they’re building more than just houses – they’re building communities. And they want you to be part of it.
Why This Role Stands Out
As a Technical Coordinator, you won’t just be ticking boxes or pushing paperwork. You’ll be at the centre of exciting projects, bringing together architects, engineers, consultants, and construction teams to ensure designs come to life exactly as planned. This is your chance to take ownership, influence decisions, and see your work transform into real homes and communities.
You’ll join a collaborative team where your ideas matter, and where you’ll have genuine opportunities to develop and progress. If you’re ambitious, proactive, and eager to make a real impact, this role will give you the platform to do just that.
What You’ll Be Doing Day-to-Day
- Coordinating and managing external consultants, ensuring design information is delivered on time and to the highest standard.
- Reviewing drawings, technical documents, and reports to guarantee compliance, buildability, and cost efficiency.
- Supporting the planning and approvals process – liaising with local authorities, service providers, and other key stakeholders.
- Partnering with the construction team to resolve site-based issues quickly and effectively.
- Driving innovation and best practice through value engineering.
- Making sure projects meet building regulations, NHBC standards, and sustainability targets.
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for someone who’s not just technically capable but passionate about problem solving and delivering quality. You’ll thrive in a fast-paced environment and be excited about the opportunity to grow with a business that’s constantly evolving. Ideally, you’ll bring:
- Experience as a Technical Coordinator or in a similar technical/design role within housebuilding, residential development, or consultancy.
- A strong working knowledge of UK building regulations, planning processes, and NHBC standards.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills – with the ability to manage multiple projects at once.
- A proactive, solution-focused approach with strong attention to detail.
- IT proficiency, including AutoCAD and Microsoft Office (BIM/Revit knowledge is a bonus).
What’s In It for You?
This is more than just a job – it’s a chance to shape the places people will call home for years to come. In return for your skills and commitment, you’ll enjoy:
- Career Progression – tailored development plans and real opportunities to advance.
- Impact – the chance to influence exciting projects and make a difference to local communities.
- Supportive Culture – a team that values collaboration, knowledge sharing, and celebrating success.
- Attractive Package – competitive salary, car allowance, bonus scheme, and a comprehensive benefits package.
- Work-Life Balance – flexible, people-focused environment with wellbeing at its core.
Ready to Take the Next Step?
If you’re ambitious, technically skilled, and want to be part of a business that’s creating lasting change across the West Midlands, we’d love to hear from you.
