Urban Planner in Sheffield

Senior Town Planner – PLC housebuilder (Norwich).

£45k – £60k plus package and bonus.

We are working with a leading PLC housebuilder in Norwich, who are looking to strengthen their planning team with a Senior Town Planner to manage planning applications for immediate development housing sites and strategic land projects across the region.

You will be a town planner with experience of working on planning applications on both immediate land and strategic land sites. You’ll work with internal teams and external consultants, handling housing applications, and working on large, multi-phased masterplans for strategic land.

You’ll work closely with the regional land & planning director, with the autonomy to handle your own projects. There is some flexible working on offer for this role.

Responsibilities:

• Manage current and future planning applications
• Support the land buying team with appraisals for future land purchases
• Provide monthly reports to the planning director on projects
• Stay current with planning policy updates for local authorities in Essex

Key experience:

• Degree qualified and working towards MRTPI qualification
• Experience working on planning applications for 50+ unit projects
• Experience with large, complex strategic land planning applications would be advantageous but not essential.
• Solid knowledge of planning policy in Essex
