Senior Land Manager
Warrington
£70,000 – £90,000 defendant on experience + Bonus and Package
Are you a Land Manager or Senior Land Manager looking to join rapidly expanding housebuilder in the North West? This forward-thinking company is looking to add to its established Land team with the addition of a Senior Land Manager within the North West region to cover the both the Manchester and Greater Manchester.
You shall report into the Land Director and will ensure relationships with land owners are established and maintained.
This business is cash-rich, and are aggressively working on securing projects throughout Manchester and the North West.
Within the role, you will be carrying out Site evaluations including planning, technical and legal issues
You will also have a strong eye for detail and be proven to deliver work to a high standard with contacts and patch experience in the north west.
Key Responsibilities:
- Site evaluations including planning, technical and legal issues
- Create strong, effective relationships with existing clients and other potential sources of business on behalf of the firm
- Prepare fee proposals and assist in the preparation of marketing advice and strategies
- Provide professional advice surrounding strategic land agreements
- Obtain and analyse offers
- Draft heads of terms, liaising with solicitors to ensure sales complete within agreed timescales
- Negotiations with developers and landowners on options, restrictive covenants, uplift clauses etc
Key Experiences:
- At least 5 years’ land acquisition experience (housebuilder ideally)
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the confidence to communicate and negotiate effectively at all levels
- Effective self-management to ensure deadlines are met
- Experience of building strong relationships, networking and promoting a business
- Ability to travel to meetings sometimes in remote or rural locations
Package:
- £70000 – £90000 Basic (depending on experience)
