We’re working with a well-established business operating within land development and infrastructure delivery, who are looking to appoint a Civil Engineer to join their technical team based in Rugby. This is a great opportunity for an engineer with a few years’ experience who wants exposure to the full development process: from early land appraisal through to infrastructure delivery and post-planning stages.
The role:
- Support the technical team with appraisal and delivery of development and infrastructure projects
- Assist in coordinating technical assessments including drainage, transport, flooding, geotechnical, ecology and other site-specific studies
- Carry out site visits and surveys to gather technical and environmental information
- Liaise with external consultants to ensure quality, value and timely delivery
- Contribute to technical appraisals, cost plans and project budgets
- Work closely with planners, architects, engineers and project managers across all stages of development
- Support the preparation of technical reports, documents and presentations
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards
About you:
- 2–4 years’ experience in a civil or technical engineering role
- Degree, HNC or HND in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
- Good understanding of the development and infrastructure process
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Proactive, adaptable and keen to continue learning
- Comfortable working both in the office and on site
- Full UK driving licence required
