The Opportunity
We are working with a leading residential developer looking for an experienced Sales Director PA to join their busy divisional sales team. This is a pivotal role working closely with the Sales Director and wider sales team, providing high-level administrative and operational support while helping ensure the department runs smoothly and efficiently.
This isn’t a traditional PA position. You will be heavily involved in the day-to-day operation of the sales function, including sales reporting, customer journeys, legal progression and communication across the wider business.
Previous experience within housebuilding is essential. You could be an experienced PA/EA already working within a residential developer, or come from a New Homes Sales Executive/Advisor background and be looking to move into a Monday-to-Friday, office-based role.
The Role
Working closely with the Sales Director and wider sales team, your responsibilities will include:
- Providing proactive day-to-day administrative and operational support to the Sales Director
- Coordinating the progression of sales from reservation through to legal completion
- Liaising with solicitors and coordinating legal documentation to ensure deadlines are achieved
- Ensuring sales systems are kept accurate and up to date
- Producing weekly and monthly sales figures and reports
- Collating information for senior management and board-level reporting
- Managing and responding to customer enquiries and helping resolve issues efficiently
- Coordinating information between the sales team and other departments across the business
- Supporting the wider sales team with operational requirements
- Helping ensure the department remains organised and adequately supported during busy periods
- Supporting and guiding members of the sales support team where required
About You
To be considered, you will need previous experience working within a housebuilder or residential developer and a strong understanding of how a new homes sales department operates. You may currently be:
- A PA or EA supporting a Sales Director, Head of Sales within housebuilding
- A New Homes Sales Executive/Advisor with strong organisational and administrative skills who is looking to move away from site-based sales
You will also need a good understanding of the new homes sales journey, from reservation through to completion.
Experience working in a fast-paced environment with strict deadlines
Excellent organisational and time-management skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Confidence working with senior management and multiple internal departments
Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office and the ability to learn new systems
A calm, professional and proactive approach
This is an excellent opportunity to take on a varied and influential role within a successful housebuilder, working closely with senior sales leadership and playing an important part in the performance of the wider sales department.
If you have strong housebuilding experience and are looking for a role where you can use your knowledge of new homes sales in a Monday-to-Friday environment, I’d love to hear from you.
