I am working with a developer in London that is looking to strengthen its team with a planning manager. You would work closely with the rest of the team and report directly to the planning director whilst working alongside the head of land. The business is one of the leading privately owned house builders in the Oxfordshire, Berkshire, and Buckinghamshire area and delivers circa 200 units per annum. The product is of high quality and they tend to focus on family homes in desirable locations. As such, the role will give you an opportunity to work on projects that will be of real interest.

You will be a town planner who has detailed experience of working on residential planning applications. Ideally, you will have a good working knowledge of the Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, and Oxfordshire region and understand the current policies in these areas. You will be currently working for either a planning consultancy or developer and looking to make your first move across to the developer side or alternatively currently work at a house builder as a planner. You will be a bright, articulate, and ambitious planner who wants to take control of the planning function.

Key experiences:
  • Degree qualified with MRTPI
  • 5 plus years post-graduation experience
  • Currently working for a house builder in a Planning Manager role or consultancy
  • Good knowledge and experience of handling planning applications in Berkshire and Buckinghamshire
  • Detailed experience on 100 unit plus projects
