I'm working with a well-established, independent property company who are looking for a Planner to join their strategic land promotion team in West Suffolk.
They promote strategic land across the East of England and have a busy pipeline, with sites at every stage.
It's a small, independent team that just gets on with things.
You'd take real ownership of your own projects and stay with them the whole way, from allocation through to delivery.
The role
- Taking strategic sites through the planning system, from early appraisal and Local Plan representations through to application and consent.
- Preparing, coordinating and submitting planning applications and managing consultant teams to determination.
- Carrying out planning appraisals on potential land opportunities.
- Building relationships with local authorities, landowners and communities.
You
- A planning degree, ideally working towards or holding MRTPI.
- Experience from a planning consultancy, or a land or planning role with a housebuilder or developer.
- A sound working knowledge of the UK planning system and local plans.
- Commercially minded and comfortable running several projects at once.
The package
- Discretionary annual bonus scheme.
- Office based in West Suffolk.
- A varied, high-profile pipeline of strategic sites to work across.
- A close-knit, independent team where your work has real influence.
If you know the planning system and want genuine ownership of a pipeline, this one is worth a look.
