The Role

You'll be joining a busy regional office delivering around 600 units per year, taking ownership of the technical function and driving projects forward from inception through to completion. With a strong pipeline of work and real backing from the business, this is a role where you can make your mark.

A key part of the position will involve managing Section 278 and Section 38 agreements, so experience navigating highways adoption and infrastructure agreements is essential.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Leading and managing the technical team across a portfolio of residential developments
  • Overseeing Section 278 and Section 38 agreements from negotiation through to adoption
  • Working closely with engineering consultants, local authorities, and internal departments
  • Managing design programmes and ensuring technical information is delivered on time
  • Supporting land appraisals and due diligence on new acquisitions
  • Mentoring and developing junior members of the team

What We're Looking For

  • A Technical Manager or Senior Engineer ready to step up, with a background in civil or structural engineering
  • Strong experience in residential housebuilding
  • Solid understanding of highways and infrastructure agreements
  • Someone who can lead a team, manage external consultants, and keep projects moving
  • A degree or HND in Civil Engineering or a related discipline is preferred
