An exceptional opportunity to join one of the leading house builders in Cheshire as a land buyer with a clear path into Land Manager and beyond. Reporting into the Managing Director, you will be tasked with sourcing and acquiring land in and around Cheshire and the North West. You will be supported by an experienced and friendly close set of colleagues within the existing team.

You will be a land buyer with 12-24 months experience and have a background and demonstrable history of sourcing and buying land, but will also be super ambitious and keen to grow your development and planning skills under the mentorship of an outstanding Managing Director. The business is very dynamic and entrepreneurial, and as such, you will be given a high level of autonomy to grow and develop your career and buy land. You will be either a land buyer looking to make the next step in your career or a development agent looking to move developer side.

Key Requirements

  • 12-24 months post-graduation experience working in residential property and ideally for a house builder
  • Demonstrable track record of sourcing and buying land in and around the North West, Cheshire and local areas
  • Currently working for either a national house builder or high-profile investor or agency
  • Detailed understanding of the planning application and appeals process
  • A strong network of contacts in the land agency world
  • Determined, hungry and ambitious
