Cambridgeshire - hybrid working
We're working with a fast-growing land and natural capital business looking for a commercial leader to own that opportunity from the ground up. This isn't an account management role. You'll build the sales strategy, personally close six- and seven-figure deals with developers, infrastructure clients and their advisers, and grow into the leader of a commercial function as the business scales. You'll also have a genuine say in how the company positions itself across emerging natural capital markets — voluntary biodiversity credits, corporate biodiversity buyers, and beyond.
What you’ll bring:
- Experience in land as an agent or land buyer
- B2B sales in environmental markets, property, ecology, carbon or natural capital
- An understanding of Biodiversity Net Gain (BNG) is essential
- A track record of personally closing high-value deals
- A strong existing network across UK development, planning or infrastructure markets
- The commercial instinct to build a sales function from scratch — pricing, deal structure, forecasting, systems, the lot
What’s in it for you:
- Autonomy to shape a market-leading commercial function
- Direct line to senior leadership
- A package that reflects the seniority of the role — £40k - £50k basic plus commission/bonus, car allowance and benefits
Full UK driving licence required; regular UK travel expected.
