The role: Source residential development opportunities through agents, landowners and off-market channels Appraise sites and run the financial viability from first look through to approval Negotiate land deals, options and conditional contracts Build and hold relationships with agents, promoters and landowners across the region Work with planning and technical teams to assess site potential and take acquisitions through to purchase
You: Land buying or land acquisition experience, ideally with a residential housebuilder or developer Confident running development appraisals and reading what makes a site viable Comfortable sourcing deals and negotiating terms Good working knowledge of the planning system and how it drives land value A network of agents and landowners, or the drive to build one quickly The package: Up to £60,000 basic salary Car allowance Further package Award-winning SME, not a national plc.
