Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Design Manager to join their rapidly expanding team, working on specialist fire safety and building remediation projects across London. This is an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned design professional to take on a leadership role within a forward-thinking, modern organisation.

The company specialises in delivering recladding and building safety remediation projects, working with leading contractors to ensure compliance and safety across high-profile developments.

This role is ideal for someone with proven senior leadership experience who has successfully managed design teams, or for an ambitious professional ready to step up into a leadership position.

  • Immediately have 2 direct reports (Design Coordinators) responsible for running their own projects
  • Support the Head of Design in growing the team, including recruiting 2 Senior Design Coordinators
  • Oversee design delivery across multiple specialist fire safety and remediation projects
  • Play a key role in shaping the strategic direction of the design function

Proven experience in design management within construction, building safety, or remediation sectors.

Strong leadership skills with experience managing and developing design teams, or the ambition to step into this responsibility.

Experience working with specialist contractors on complex projects.

Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Flexible working: 3 days in the office (Central London), 2 days working from home.
