The predicted salary is between 90000 - 105000 £ per year.
Remote based - Projects across the South. £90k - £105k basic plus package and bonus.
We are working with a privately owned developer who are exceptionally well thought of and have grown rapidly in the last two years, with a strong pipeline of good projects. They now need to appoint an experienced individual to head up the construction delivery team across a portfolio of projects, reporting into the Construction Director and Group Development Director and taking the lead on all construction / project management matters.
There will also be the requirement for a deal of pre-construction work in the initial 12 months, so candidates need to have good experience of leading pre-construction activities and be happy to bring a collection of developments to site.
You will have previous experience of leading the pre-construction activities, and delivery of rc frame residential or later living projects, ideally having experience in traditional build and rc frame. You will be well used to leading the site teams to a successful practical completion and be used to managing stakeholders & complex internal and external construction delivery teams.
The business is rapidly growing and extremely entrepreneurial, so you thrive in fast paced environments and be comfortable making executive decisions.
Key requirements:
- Experienced Project / Senior Project Manager, Construction Manager or Contracts Manager who has experience working for a main contractor, and ideally for a developer too.
- Demonstrable experience of leading internal and external teams to achieve successful practical completion of projects.
- Pre-construction experience and the ability to take sites from design to site.
- Experience on residential or later life schemes is essential.
- Previous experience of building and developing high performing teams.
- Previous background of developing new processes and procedures in construction teams.
