About the Role
As an Executive Assistant within the Health Services Executive Group (HSEG), you'll be at the heart of supporting senior leaders who shape the future of healthcare in Aotearoa. This role is far more than diary management; you'll act as a trusted partner, ensuring leaders can focus on strategic priorities by managing complex schedules, correspondence, and high-level commitments. You'll provide seamless coordination for meetings and events, prepare critical documentation, and handle sensitive matters with absolute discretion. Beyond traditional support, you'll champion smarter ways of working by leveraging technology and systems to streamline processes and enhance collaboration. About the Team/Service/Location
Join our Executive Support team and make a meaningful impact by supporting the Chief Nurse, Chief Medical Officer, Chief Midwife, and Pou Whakaruruhau Matua at Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora Hawkes Bay. Your expertise will strengthen the ability for this team to deliver on strategic priorities, drive innovation, and improve health outcomes, making a real and lasting difference for the communities we serve.
About you
- Previous experience supporting senior executives in a fast-paced environment.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite and digital tools, with a knack for leveraging technology to streamline workflows.
- Exceptional organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities under pressure.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
- A commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi and applying its principles meaningfully in your work.
- Relationship Management, strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships at all levels, including senior health sector leaders.
