We work with pioneering businesses and creative leaders to build reputation and drive business growth through integrated PR, digital and thought leadership campaigns. A sample of our clients includes forpeople, SketchUp, BUCK, Morrama, Conran Design Group, Lexus, Robilant and Swift Creatives — across brand, product, experience design and innovation.
TDC is undergoing a transformation as we redefine the role and operations of a fit-for-purpose PR and digital agency. By embracing AI and technological innovation, we are building a senior team of communications experts who offer an integrated and human-first approach to:
- Providing strategic PR and digital counsel across positioning, messaging and activation on a day-to-day basis.
- Creating meaningful connections by tapping into our extensive network of industry and sector contacts to help broaden our client’s networks.
We are currently looking for a collaborative senior comms professional who, at SAM level, has a passion for media relations, thrives on actively crafting thought leadership and news angles, as well as pitching to secure top tier coverage. The successful candidate will be hungry to take ownership and responsibility for client accounts and delivery.
For the right person, this is an opportunity to play a pivotal role within TDC and help shape the future of our business that is already known for its bold thinking and sharp execution. We are looking for a bold, confident, forward-thinking, results-driven communications expert with a savvy knowledge of PR, digital and social activity.
The successful candidate will have a passion for creating meaningful client relationships as well as a stellar bank of contacts across global brand, marketing, business, creative and design media.
Our new Senior Account Manager (SAM) will be the driving force across a portfolio of global clients, successfully running each account as the first point of client contact. Supported by a team of delivery specialists and freelancers, they will work closely with Directors to provide strategic counsel and deliver standout results across integrated campaigns spanning PR, digital and social activity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Take ownership of each account within a portfolio of clients, building open and honest relationships with strong strategic counsel.
- Deliver high-quality reporting, insights, and strategic input.
- Work alongside the Account Director to assist in developing a comprehensive communications strategy that includes earned, shared, and paid media.
- Drive tactical elements of campaign delivery including media outreach and pitching, drafting news releases and social content, creating thought leadership campaigns including developing angles, drafting synopsis, pitching to top tier media and securing coverage.
- Keep on top of the news agenda - monitoring the daily news to enable a broad knowledge of global activity to tap into cultural shifts and factors affecting the industries we work in.
- Work alongside digital specialists to create social-first content, influencer partnerships and paid social campaigns.
- Help evolve and enhance TDC’s integrated offer through client work and insight.
- Brief and coordinate PR and digital specialist freelancers, ensuring quality and accountability.
- Contribute to proposal writing and client growth plans.
- Recognise opportunities for upselling and cross-selling additional services.
Requirements:
- 6+ years’ experience in PR/communications with integrated digital experience.
- Excellent media contacts across brand, marketing, business, design and creative media.
- Experience delivering creative campaigns in the design, innovation or tech sectors.
- Ability to lead accounts, manage delivery and ensure the highest level of quality when it comes to delivery.
- Excellent understanding of the digital landscape and social channels.
- Strong writing and storytelling skills (press releases, pitches, messaging).
- Experience with SEO, digital PR, content or influencer work.
- Knowledge of design media, creative culture and emerging tech landscape.
- Ability to work independently and thrive in a remote-first team.
- Energised by smart, creative people.
Be part of a forward-thinking consultancy reshaping what PR means. Flexible, remote-first working with regular team meet-ups and offsites. Transparent leadership, shared growth vision and opportunities for personal development.
