Job Description

Job Title – Asbestos Surveyor\\n\\nLocation – London\\n\\nSalary – £30 – 37k DOE\\n\\nCompany\\n\\nMy client is a well-established environmental services company working across the UK. With over 20 years of experience within the Asbestos industry.\\n\\nThe Opportunity\\n\\nDue to Continued growth, an opportunity has arisen for an experienced asbestos surveyor to join the team.\\n\\nAbout the job\\n\\n * Building inspections. To include management and refurbishment/demolition Asbestos surveys\\n\\n * Record data accurately on the company database via a tablet device\\n\\n * Accurately record sample information onto sample bags and sample labels\\n\\n * Produce accurate electronic site plans, where necessary, and accurately record all sample locations and material extent onto final plans\\n\\n * Check plans against data on tablet and sample bags, before submission\\n\\n * Ensure all samples taken are submitted to the laboratory or posted for analysis within the client-specified time frame\\n\\n * Competent and confident with surveying software\\n\\n * Quality Assurance checks of report accuracy\\n\\n * Comply with procedures in accordance with quality manual and current HSE Guidance\\n\\nAbout the successful applicant\\n\\nYou'll need to be self-disciplined, experienced, accountable, flexible, and have a positive, proactive vision for growth both for the company and personally.\\n\\nTo be successful, you will have:\\n\\n * Full UK Licence\\n\\n * P402 as a minimum\\n\\n * P401, P403, P405 – Desired\\n\\n * At least 12 months of experience as an asbestos Surveyor\\n\\n * Clean record and able to pass a DBS check\\n\\nPackage\\n\\n * A fully expensed company vehicle or a vehicle allowance with a fuel card\\n\\n * 25 days holiday\\n\\n * Frequent opportunities for overtime at an enhanced rate\\n\\n * Opportunities for progression and training in Water Hygiene Services, Fire Safety, and Analytical work\\n\\n * Membership of the Employee Ownership Trust with the chance for significant payments from the company's profit-sharing scheme within 1 year
