Key Requirements
- Experienced in the repair of Generators, Bow Thrusters and Propulsion Motors on Marine vessels at various sites throughout Britain and overseas.
- Solid background in Electric Motors and Generators, AC and DC Motor repairs, overhauls and testing of associated equipment.
- Carry out any necessary duties that may develop as the business evolves.
- Work on your own - initiative and good communication skills are essential.
Qualifications/Experience
- Previous experience in overhaul and refurbishing of AC/DC motors, and other rotating electro-mechanical equipment, including medium and high voltage equipment.
- Experience with EX motors is advantageous.
- Fully time served in the relevant discipline.
- Must have the right to work in the UK.
This is a permanent, full-time role based at our premises at Bankhead, Aberdeen. An attractive remuneration package will be offered to the successful candidates.
