Industrial Spray Painter

TDC’s Quality Coatings division specialises in surface preparation and specialist coatings to a wide range of environments including, Subsea, Topside and splash Zone. Working closely with market leading paint manufacturers, we have the knowledge, experience and capabilities to meet and exceed our clients needs while producing work of the highest standard.We are currently recruiting within the Quality Coatings Department for the following personnel:

The ideal candidate must be experienced in Industrial Spraying who is, methodical and process-driven, with great attention to detail and excellent communication skills.

Role will include but is not limited to:

• Preparing parts for painting
• Carry out airless spray painting in accordance with clients’ specifications and accepted trade practice
• Operating and maintaining airless spray-painting equipment
• Practicing good housekeeping – including correct paint storage and maintaining clear paper records
• Reviewing work practices and suggesting ways to reduce lead times and costs

Experience:

• Proved experience in industrial airless spraying
• Ability to prioritise workload when up against deadlines
• Ability to work as part of a team and under own initiative
• Valid forklift truck licence desirable but not necessary

This is a permanent, full-time role working at our main site at Bucksburn, Aberdeen.

An attractive remuneration package will be offered to the successful candidates. Starting salary from £36,000.00 depending on experience.
