We are looking for someone who is proficient within Juniper networks. This is a hybrid role that offers great opportunities to progress your career within networking.
The role requires the following key skills / knowledge:
- Strong experience working with Juniper Routers, Switches and Firewalls.
- Good experience working with BGP, OSPF, MPLS, IPSEC VPNs, NAT, VRFs, PPPoE.
- Experience working across Windows Server and Linux OS.
- JNCIA/JNCIS or equivalent, or able to demonstrate you can work at this level.
- Previous experience with Draytek and Ubiquity preferred.
- Understanding of Network Infrastructure/Topology.
- Understanding of VoIP Technologies.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 2nd/3rd line technical support to customers.
- Monitor customer network equipment and ongoing tickets.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues and deal with vendor escalation where needed.
- Overseeing the day-to-day running of the core network.
- Produce detailed and accurate design documentation that includes network diagrams.
- Monitor network performance and make recommendations based on performance analysis.
- Responsible for maintaining and improving the current network configuration and infrastructure.
