Key Skills / Knowledge
- Strong experience working with Juniper Routers, Switches and Firewall
- Good experience working with BGP, OSPF, MPLS, IPSEC VPNs, NAT, VRFs, PPPo
- Experience working across Windows Server and Linux
- JNCIA/JNCIS or equivalent / or able to demonstrate you can work at this level
- Previous experience with Draytek and Ubiquity preferred
- Understanding of Network Infrastructure/Topology
- Understanding of VoIP Technology
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Key Responsibilities
- Provide 2nd/3rd line technical support to customers
- Monitor customer network equipment and ongoing tickets
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues and deal with vendor escalation where needed
- Oversee day-to-day running of the core network
- Produce detailed and accurate design documentation that includes network diagrams
- Monitor network performance and make recommendations based on performance analysis
- Responsible for maintaining and improving the current network configuration and infrastructure
