Role Overview:
We are seeking a Technical Delivery-focused Application Tester to validate and ensure the successful deployment of business applications within a multi-cloud environment (GCP, Azure, AWS). This role will focus on testing off-the-shelf and custom-built applications to ensure seamless integration into the cloud ecosystem. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in insurance, finance, or trading systems and be well-versed in cloud-based application testing, automation, and containerized environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own the end-to-end test process for applications being migrated and deployed in GCP & Azure.
- Execute functional, non-functional, UAT, and integration testing across insurance applications.
- Validate off-the-shelf application configurations to ensure business and technical alignment.
- Ensure seamless containerized application testing using Docker, Kubernetes.
- Work closely with Technical Delivery, DevOps, and Cloud Engineering teams to test and optimize deployments.
- Identify defects, perform root cause analysis, and escalate issues to third-party vendors.
- Work within an Agile delivery framework, ensuring smooth collaboration with DevOps & CI/CD pipelines.
- Maintain detailed test documentation, reports, and dashboards for stakeholder visibility.
- Implement automated testing frameworks to enhance test coverage and efficiency.
Key Skills & Experience:
- Experience testing insurance, underwriting, or finance applications.
- Strong knowledge of Technical Delivery processes in cloud environments.
- Hands-on experience with cloud-based testing tools and automation frameworks.
- Familiarity with API testing, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and CI/CD workflows.
- Ability to work in Agile and DevOps-driven environments.
- Excellent stakeholder management, able to work across Technical Delivery, DevOps, and vendor teams.
