The Role
We are currently looking for an experienced and reliable Fabric Engineer to join our team at a prestigious site in Broadgate, London. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out planned and reactive fabric maintenance, ensuring the building and its facilities are maintained to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance tasks.
- Undertake general fabric repairs and maintenance across the site.
- Identify and report defects, ensuring issues are resolved promptly.
- Complete maintenance tasks to a high standard and in accordance with health and safety procedures.
- Assist with a range of building fabric works, including basic carpentry, plumbing, decorating and general repairs.
- Work effectively alongside other engineers and site-based teams.
- Maintain accurate records of completed works and report any outstanding issues.
- Ensure all work is completed safely and professionally.
The Ideal Candidate
- Previous experience working as a Fabric Engineer, Maintenance Engineer or in a similar building maintenance role.
- Strong practical skills and a good understanding of general building fabric maintenance.
- Able to work independently and as part of a wider engineering team.
- Good communication and organisational skills.
