Salary: £43,000 to £48,000 plus van and overtime

Our client are looking for an Electrician to join them on a permanent basis. They deliver small to medium multi-discipline projects on the installation of equipment and plant systems for the water industry throughout Greater London. You will provide the detailed technical input to the project and ensure works are safe and meet the specifications prior to implementation.

The overall purpose of the role is to deliver electrical installation works including testing & commissioning activities within the business. As an Electrician, you will undertake a variety of tasks relating to setting up and maintaining electrical infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

Install, maintain, and repair electrical equipment across various client sites.

Quickly identify and resolve electrical faults, ensuring minimal downtime and effective solutions.

Carry out electrical construction works in line with the standards defined in the electrical skills matrix.

Ensure compliance with relevant electrical regulations and project specifications, including those outlined in the skills matrix.

Perform electrical control works according to the standards within the electrical skills matrix.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of BS7671 wiring regulations and ensure all work is compliant.

Apply a working knowledge of WIMES specifications and construction practices.

Complete and contribute to the preparation and submission of NICEIC certifications.

Skills / Experience / Qualifications:

NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation.

Ideally completed a recognised electrical apprenticeship.

18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualified.

ECS Card holder.

Trained in First Aid.

Confined Space Training (preferred but not essential).

Familiarity with electrical construction to WIMES specification.

Sound knowledge of safe systems of work and health & safety best practices.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure.

Previous experience in the wastewater industry is advantageous.
