About the Role
As a Residential Support Worker (or Senior Residential Support Worker), you'll play a vital role in helping children feel safe, secure and understood. You'll:
- Create a warm, caring and therapeutic home environment.
- Support children with daily routines, education, hobbies and family contact.
- Encourage independence, confidence and emotional wellbeing.
- Build positive, trusting relationships that help children recover from trauma.
- Work alongside colleagues, therapists and external professionals to achieve the very best outcomes.
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to personalised care plans.

What We're Looking For
Essential
- Full UK driving licence.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Willingness to work 24-hour shifts, including sleep-ins.
- A genuine passion for supporting children and young people.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- A caring, resilient and positive attitude.
- Commitment to delivering high-quality, child-centred therapeutic care.
Desirable
- Experience working in a children's residential home.
- Experience supporting children who have experienced trauma or emotional and behavioural difficulties.
- Knowledge of trauma-informed practice.
- PRICE, Team Teach or similar behaviour management training.
We also welcome applications from experienced Residential Support Workers who hold a Level 3 qualification and are looking to take the next step into a Senior role.
