We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Registered Manager to lead a Children's Residential Home in Chipping, Preston. What We Offer

  • Competitive salary of £55,000 - £63,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications
  • Ofsted bonus of up to £3,000 per year
  • Sign-on bonus of up to £3,000 within the first six months

  • Monday to Friday working pattern (9:00am – 5:00pm) with scheduled on-call duties

The Role

As Registered Manager, you will be responsible for the overall leadership and management of the home, ensuring the highest standards of care, safeguarding, and compliance are maintained at all times.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading the day-to-day operation of the home
  • Managing, mentoring, and developing the residential care team
  • Ensuring compliance with Ofsted regulations and safeguarding requirements
  • Maintaining high standards of care and achieving positive outcomes for children and young people
  • Monitoring performance, quality, and continuous improvement within the service
  • Building effective relationships with children, families, social workers, and external professionals
  • Promoting a stable, nurturing, and child-centred environment

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Previous leadership or management experience within a Children's Residential Home
  • Strong knowledge of safeguarding procedures and Ofsted regulations
  • Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
  • A willingness to complete, or already hold, a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management
  • A full UK driving licence
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
  • A passion for improving outcomes for children and young people
