We are recruiting for an experienced Registered Manager to lead a children's residential home in Lancashire.

- Salary of £55,000 - £63,000 per year, depending on experience, qualifications, registration history, and home size

The Role
As the Registered Manager, you will be responsible for the overall leadership and day-to-day management of the home, ensuring the highest standards of care and compliance are maintained.
Your responsibilities will include
- Leading the day-to-day operation of the children's home
- Creating a safe, nurturing, and therapeutic environment for children and young people
- Recruiting, mentoring, and developing a high-performing staff team
- Ensuring full compliance with Ofsted regulations, safeguarding legislation, and company policies
- Managing staff performance, quality assurance, and continuous service improvement
- Building positive relationships with children, families, social workers, and external professionals
- Driving the home towards Good or Outstanding Ofsted outcomes
About You
Essential Requirements
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a senior role within a children's residential EBD setting
- Previous leadership or management experience within a children's home
- Experience of Ofsted registrations, inspections, or both
- Strong understanding of safeguarding, children's legislation, and Ofsted regulations
- Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or an equivalent recognised qualification)
- Hold or be willing to complete the Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Right to work in the UK (No sponsorship available)
Desirable
- 5+ years' experience within children's residential care
- Experience supporting children with emotional and behavioural needs
- Proven track record of achieving or maintaining Good or Outstanding Ofsted ratings
