Are you an experienced and passionate leader looking to make a lasting difference in the lives of children and young people?

We are seeking an exceptional Registered Manager to lead a Ofsted-regulated children's residential home that can accomdate up to 2 children, supporting young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD).

The home is situated in a peaceful rural setting, approximately a 25-minute drive from the nearest city, offering a calm and therapeutic environment for both children and staff.

As the Registered Manager, you will provide strong leadership, ensuring the home operates in full compliance with Ofsted regulations while creating a safe, nurturing, and therapeutic environment where children can thrive.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the day-to-day operation of one or two children's residential homes.
  • Ensure compliance with the Children's Homes Regulations, Quality Standards, and Ofsted requirements.
  • Create a safe, stable, and nurturing environment that promotes positive outcomes for children and young people with EBD.
  • Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing team through coaching, supervision, and performance management.
  • Promote trauma-informed and therapeutic approaches, including P. A. C. E. and attachment-based practice.
  • Maintain the highest standards of safeguarding and ensure effective risk management.
  • Build strong relationships with local authorities, social workers, families, and external professionals.
  • Monitor budgets, occupancy, and service performance while driving continuous improvement.
  • Prepare for and lead Ofsted inspections.

About You

You will be an experienced leader who is passionate about improving the lives of children and young people.

Essential Requirements

  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent).
  • Previous experience as an Ofsted Registered Manager or an experienced Deputy Manager ready to step into a Registered Manager role.
  • Strong knowledge of Children's Homes Regulations, Quality Standards, and Ofsted frameworks.
  • Experience supporting children and young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD).
  • Excellent understanding of safeguarding, Child Sexual Exploitation (CSE), Child Criminal Exploitation (CCE), trauma-informed care, attachment theory, and P. A. C. E.
  • Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Full Right to Work in UK
