Are you an experienced leader within Children's Residential Care looking for your next challenge? We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Registered Manager to lead a Children's Residential Home in Chipping, Preston. This is an exciting opportunity to make a genuine difference in the lives of children and young people with emotional and behavioural needs by creating a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment where they can thrive.

The Role

  • Leading the day-to-day operation of the home
  • Managing, mentoring, and developing the residential care team
  • Ensuring compliance with Ofsted regulations and safeguarding requirements
  • Maintaining high standards of care and achieving positive outcomes for children and young people
  • Monitoring performance, quality, and continuous improvement within the service
  • Building effective relationships with children, families, social workers, and external professionals
  • Promoting a stable, nurturing, and child-centred environment

About You

  • Previous leadership or management experience within a Children's Residential Home
  • Strong knowledge of safeguarding procedures and Ofsted regulations
  • Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
  • A willingness to complete, or already hold, a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management
  • A full UK driving licence
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
  • A passion for improving outcomes for children and young people

What We Offer

  • Competitive salary of £55,000 - £63,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications
  • Ofsted bonus of up to £3,000 per year
  • Sign-on bonus of up to £3,000 within the first six months
  • First-year earning potential of up to £66,000
  • Monday to Friday working pattern (9:00am – 5:00pm) with scheduled on-call duties
  • Support towards achieving a Level 5 Leadership and Management qualification
