Job Description

Corporate Profile:

Position Overview

• Process and settle Fixed Income trades (government bonds, corporate bonds, repos) via settlement depositaries.
• Ensure accurate and timely matching and settlement of trades in line with market deadlines.
• Monitor settlement status and proactively resolve failed or pending trades, updating stakeholders as required.
• Liaise with custodians, clearing agents, and counterparties to resolve discrepancies ahead of settlement cut-offs.
• Perform daily cash and securities reconciliations, maintaining strong operational controls to mitigate risk to the Bank.
• Handle new issue processing (non‑syndicated and syndicated).
• Certificate Deposit & Commercial Paper ISO creation and settlement; Citi velocity experience advantageous.

Other

• Strong knowledge of Fixed Income products and settlement processes.
• Solid understanding of the full settlement cycle, from trade booking through to post‑trade processing and reconciliation.
• Familiarity with CSDR settlement process advantageous.
• Experience using Calypso Cash, OMGEO ALERT, Easy Way advantageous.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
• Candidates with new issues experience are preferred.
