We are seeking a Transport Compliance Administrator to support our client in Bristol. This is a hands-on, operational role suited to someone with previous transport industry experience, ideally an ex-driver or a driver looking to move away from driving while remaining involved in transport operations. This is not a typical office-based admin role. The successful candidate will regularly work in the yard and will be required to get in and out of vehicles.
Key Responsibilities
- Accident investigation and reporting
- Managing manual vehicle download calendars
- General transport administration duties
- Carrying out vehicle spot checks
- Auditing vehicle defect notes
- TVT administration and checks
- Liaising with the transport team and supporting daily operations
Requirements
- Previous experience working in the transport industry
- Full UK driving licence
- Comfortable working in a yard environment and around HGVs
- Willingness to travel between Hartcliffe Way and Ashton sites
Desirable
- HGV licence (not essential)
- Background as an HGV driver or transport operative
- Knowledge of vehicle compliance and defect reporting
