Overview
TD Recruitment are currently looking for skilled HGV Mechanics to join our client in Musselburgh, EH21 area.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain HGVs to DVSA standards
- Perform routine servicing and inspections
- Fault finding using diagnostic equipment
- Replace or repair faulty parts and ensure roadworthiness
- Complete job cards and service records accurately
- Work independently and as part of a team in a busy workshop
Requirements
- Proven experience as an HGV mechanic/technician
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance (preferred)
- Valid HGV Licence (Class 1 or 2) is a plus
- Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
- Own tools preferred
- Must have right to work in the UK
