TD Recruitment is currently recruiting for an experienced Gardener Team Leader to join our client, a well-established landscaping and grounds maintenance company based in the Salisbury area.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous landscaping or grounds maintenance experience who is ready to take the next step into a leadership role.

You'll be leading a small team, ensuring projects are completed to a high standard while maintaining excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leading and supervising a small team of landscapers and gardeners.
  • Carrying out all aspects of soft landscaping and grounds maintenance.
  • Lawn mowing, strimming, hedge cutting and pruning.
  • Planting trees, shrubs, flowers and turfing.
  • Weeding, watering and general garden maintenance.
  • Assisting with fencing, garden improvements and landscaping projects.
  • Operating landscaping equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Ensuring work is completed to a high standard and on schedule.
  • Liaising professionally with customers and reporting progress to management.
  • Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment.

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience in landscaping, gardening or grounds maintenance.
  • Experience leading or supervising a team is desirable.
  • A full UK driving licence and own transport are essential.
  • Able to travel to the client's yard in Salisbury each morning.
  • Reliable, hardworking and professional.
  • Good communication and leadership skills.
  • Physically fit and happy working outdoors in all weather conditions.
  • Passionate about landscaping and delivering high-quality work.
