We are currently recruiting for an Intermediate to Senior Quantity Surveyor to join Perimeter Solutions Limited, a specialist provider of commercial and high-security fencing systems. The company delivers projects across sectors including education, industrial facilities, infrastructure, data centres and high-security government environments. The successful candidate will manage the commercial aspects of multiple projects, working closely with clients, Contracts Managers, installers and the internal Accounts team. Key Responsibilities * Review subcontracts and contractual terms before signing. * Negotiate commercially unsuitable subcontract conditions. * Prepare and submit monthly applications for payment and follow these through to payment. * Identify variations and prepare variation quotations. * Negotiate and agree variations with the client's Quantity Surveyor. * Agree final accounts and apply for extensions of time where required. * Maintain strong client relationships and regular communication. * Prepare monthly cost reports, including accruals and Work in Progress. * Work closely with installers and Contracts Managers to monitor project costs and progress. * Liaise with the internal Accounts department and manage commercial deadlines across multiple projects. About You We are looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor with a strong commercial background and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Ideally, you will have: * 5+ years' Quantity Surveying experience. * Main Contractor or Subcontractor QS experience. * For subcontractor QS candidates, experience in groundworks, landscaping or fencing is preferred. * Experience managing multiple smaller-value projects. * Experience on projects typically valued between £50,000 and £1 million. * Strong practical knowledge of JCT contracts. * Previous UK Quantity Surveying experience. * Experience with valuations, applications for payment, variations, final accounts and extensions of time. * Strong commercial negotiation and communication skills. * The ability to work independently while collaborating with operational and finance teams. RICS membership is not required. Candidates whose experience has predominantly been on very large £50m+ projects may not be suitable unless they have specifically managed the relevant fencing package. What We Offer * £50,000–£70,000 salary, depending on experience. * Company car or car allowance. * Permanent, full-time position. * Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm. * Office-based role in Dartford, with site visits as required. * Opportunity to work across commercial and high-security fencing projects. * Varied workload managing multiple projects and client relationships.
