The Debt Capital Markets ("DCM") group at TD Securities is hiring for an Analyst position on the FIG Investment Grade DCM Origination team, based in London or Dublin. This is an opportunity to join a growing team with visibility at the senior executive level within TD Securities. The position will provide an opportunity to gain coverage and transaction experience with client facing opportunities. The ideal candidate will enjoy a high level of responsibility in a fast paced and dynamic trading floor environment.
The DCM group consists of TD Securities' global debt advisory, underwriting, private placement and liability management businesses. DCM advises clients across sectors on optimizing their capital structures, raising funds in the global debt capital markets and managing existing liabilities. DCM works alongside Investment Banking, Debt Syndicate, Research and Sales & Trading teams to deliver best in class advice for our clients.
Position Summary:
- Work alongside the DCM origination and syndication teams in pitching and covering clients across the EMEA region to identify funding needs and strategic opportunities across currencies.
- Responsible for weekly new issue pricing, monitoring and communicating relevant market activity to clients, constructing presentations for meetings, and maintaining deal databases.
- Establish deep knowledge of the global bond markets, identifying trends and originating unique ideas.
- Play an integral role in the deal cycle from beginning to end including taking ownership of pitches, deal documentation, sales memos, marketing, due diligence, execution, pricing, and settlement.
- Responsible for coordinating with various product groups within TD Securities.
- Understand and comply with TD Securities' policies, regulatory and compliance requirements, ensuring that transactions are fully documented and processed accurately and in a timely manner.
- Possess specialized and expert knowledge of market data, economic information and key industry developments as well as regulatory standards.
- Leverage this information to assist in maximizing profitability through sound business decisions.
- Develop and maintain contact with market participants and support syndicate in operating in supplying market information to partners within the Global DCM group.
Qualifications:
- Recent graduates considered for analyst role with prior internship experience in DCM or current Analysts with experience within DCM or a similar group (M&A, ECM, Syndicate or Derivatives).

- Highly motivated with pride of ownership in work, showing intellectual curiosity in financial market concepts.
- High level of attention to detail and time management.
- Must be able to work independently, be adaptable and establish own priorities with minimal supervision.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to lay out nuanced concepts clearly and succinctly in email/presentation formats.
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint.
