Spring Insight Day (April 14/21) – Investment Banking

TD Securities is offering an exceptional opportunity for you to meet our diverse and dynamic team through our Investment Banking Spring Insights Day. The Spring Insights Day is an introduction to TD Securities and gives you the opportunity to develop the skills that top investment banks seek and set the foundation for your future career in Investment Banking.
In order to be considered for the Investment Banking one-day event, all candidates must submit a full application inclusive of:
- Cover Letter (one page or less)
- CV (maximum of 2 pages)
- A written response (one page or less) addressing the question: "Why are you interested in attending the Investment Banking Spring Insight Day at TD Securities?"
Please Note: Candidates should only apply to one Spring Insight Day event—either Global Markets or Investment Banking. In your Cover Letter and Written Response, explain why you are interested in a career in your chosen area.

- First-year undergraduates studying a three-year degree or second-year undergraduates of a four-year degree
Who Should Apply?
We’re looking for first year or second year students from all undergraduates from any academic background who:
- Have strong communication skills and a growth mindset.
- Are team players who can collaborate in a fast-paced environment across teams and regions, delivering accurate results under pressure.
- Have a genuine interest in finance and the global macroeconomic environment, with a curiosity for current affairs.
- Bring good interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on teamwork.
- Programming and data analytics skills (e.g. Python, R, Java, SQL, C++) are desirable but not required.
- Have business-level fluency in English, with additional languages (French, German, Spanish, or Italian) being a plus.
We welcome applicants from all backgrounds, including those who may have faced personal or socio-economic challenges. Even if you don’t have direct finance experience, if you’re passionate about investment banking, global markets, sales, trading, or the financial sector, we want to hear from you!
