Associate, International Corporate Investment Grade Debt Capital Markets Origination – London, UK. Works alongside senior DCM Origination Officers in pitching and covering TD’s clients globally, identifying funding needs and strategic opportunities across various currencies.
Responsibilities
- Prepare weekly new issue pricing, monitor and communicate relevant market activity to clients, construct presentations for meetings, and maintain deal databases.
- Develop deep knowledge of the global bond markets, identify trends, and originate unique ideas (e.g., acquisition financing, liability management, structured transactions).
- Take ownership of pitches, deal documentation, sales memos, marketing, due diligence, execution, pricing and settlement through the full deal cycle.
- Coordinate with internal groups – Syndicate, Sales & Trading, Research, Investment Banking, Corporate Banking, Market Risk Solutions, Global DCM, Equity Capital Markets, Loan Capital Markets, Leveraged Finance, etc.
- Ensure compliance with TD Securities policies, regulatory and compliance requirements, and that transactions are fully documented and processed accurately and timely.
- Maintain contacts with market participants and support syndicate operations within the Global DCM group.
Qualifications & Experience
- 3+ years experience within Debt Capital Markets or a similar group (Debt Capital Markets, Syndicate or Derivatives).
- Strong references.

- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and establish priorities.
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
