The Role
Candidate must have experience in OTA design (HLD/LLD), validation of testing, agree migration strategy with vendor, manage deployments of Over-the-Air (OTA) platforms for SIM/eSIM lifecycle management, ES, SMDP+ technologies. Should have working knowledge with OTA systems, ensuring secure remote provisioning, updates, and management of SIM cards across mobile networks.
Candidate should have strong expertise in telecom protocols, SIM card technologies, OTA platforms, and security frameworks.
Your responsibilities:
Support project activities from a design point of view (supporting the relevant TDA in the team):
• HLD, LLD reviews
• Validation in test
• Agree migration strategy with vendor
• Oversee deployments

• Understanding of SIM processes
Context:
OTA (Over-The-Air) is a platform that enables mobile operators to remotely manage SIM cards already deployed in customers' devices, without any physical intervention. It delivers encrypted commands over the mobile network (via silent SMS or HTTPS) to perform tasks such as updating network settings, installing or modifying applets, managing SIM profiles, and rotating credentials.
The project involves migration of the existing OTA application from legacy systems to AWS. Strong OTA platform expertise is required.
