Role Overview
We are looking for a talented Digital Business Analyst with explicit Utility Industry experience to bridge the gap between business needs and digital solutions. The successful candidate will work closely with stakeholders, product owners, development teams, and end users to define business requirements, optimize digital processes, and support the delivery of innovative digital products and services.
Key Responsibilities
Business Analysis
• Gather, analyse, and document business requirements.
• Conduct workshops, interviews, and stakeholder meetings.
• Translate business needs into detailed functional and non-functional requirements.
• Create user stories, epics, acceptance criteria, and process flows.
Digital Transformation
• Support digital transformation and modernization initiatives.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.
• Analyse current-state and future-state business processes.
• Recommend digital solutions aligned with business objectives.
Agile Product Delivery
• Work closely with Product Owners and Scrum teams.
• Participate in backlog grooming, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Support prioritization of requirements based on business value.
• Ensure delivered solutions meet business expectations.
Stakeholder Engagement
• Build strong relationships with business and technology stakeholders.
• Facilitate workshops and requirement elicitation sessions.
• Manage competing priorities and stakeholder expectations.
• Support change management and user adoption activities.
Documentation & Analysis
• Produce:
o Business Requirements Documents (BRD)
o Functional Specifications
o User Stories
o Use Cases
o Process Maps
o Gap Analysis
o Impact Assessments
• Maintain traceability from requirements through delivery and testing.
Testing & Validation
• Support SIT and UAT activities.
• Define acceptance criteria and business validation scenarios.
• Assist with defect triage and resolution processes.
• Ensure business requirements are successfully delivered.
Required Skills & Experience
Essential
• Explicit Utility Industry experience.
• 5+ years of Business Analysis experience within Digital or Technology projects.
• Strong experience in Agile delivery environments.
• Expertise in requirements gathering and stakeholder management.
• Experience working on digital platforms, web applications, mobile applications, or customer-facing solutions.
• Ability to translate business requirements into actionable deliverables.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Education & Certifications
