The Role

We’re looking for a Cyber Program Manager who will play a crucial role in planning, executing, and overseeing cybersecurity initiatives and programs across the organization. This role ensures that security projects align with business objectives, regulatory requirements, and risk management strategies. They coordinate with cross-functional teams, manage budgets and timelines, and track program performance to ensure successful delivery. Additionally, the Cyber Program Manager monitors emerging threats, drives security improvements, and ensures effective communication between leadership, technical teams, and stakeholders. -------> Please include a brief outline of the impact this role will have, including overview of customer industry and projects, access to cutting-edge technology etc. Do NOT include customer name.

Your responsibilities:

• Define and manage cybersecurity programs and initiatives aligned with business and risk objectives

• Develop and maintain program roadmaps, timelines, budgets, and resource plans

• Coordinate with cross-functional teams (IT, security, business) to deliver security projects effectively

• Monitor and report on program performance, risks, and key metrics (KPIs)

• Ensure compliance with security regulations, standards, and organizational policies

• Identify and manage cybersecurity risks and mitigation strategies

• Oversee implementation of security controls, tools, and frameworks

• Engage with stakeholders to communicate program status, issues, and improvements

• Support incident response planning and continuous improvement initiatives

• Stay updated on emerging cyber threats and drive enhancements in security posture

Your Profile

Essential skills/knowledge/experience:

• Bachelor’s in Computer Science or related field

• Strong experience in managing cybersecurity programs and projects

• Knowledge of security frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, CIS) and risk management

• Proven ability to manage budgets, timelines, and cross-functional teams

• Strong understanding of cybersecurity controls, threats, and governance practices

Desirable skills/knowledge/experience:

• Master’s degree or MBA in a related field

• Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, PMP, or PRINCE2

• Experience with GRC tools and security program metrics/KPIs

• Exposure to cloud security, DevSecOps, or digital transformation programs

• Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills
